MUSIC BIO
Marco Perez, also known as HONEYDEW, is a singer/songwriter known for his lyrics and storytelling that come from his love of singer/songwriters, like James Taylor, Noah Kahan, and Lizzy McAlpine. Starting his music career, he was a singer/songwriter for Daniel De Leon's first project, Oceanography (2019) where he was featured on the song, Pondering. After that, he continued his own music journey with his first single, Rainfall (2020). His debut album, Opal (2021), was an interesting take on the term, “singer-songwriter” by pushing every genre and not really sticking to a mold. The Lavender EP (2022), was his step into more complex sound and offered a new light into what the future held. His sophomore album, Hymns for You (2022), brought a more professional sound, and something new that this young artist would continue to make with his most recent EP, Cherry Blossom (2022). His newest album, Among the Wildflowers (2024), goes back to his roots of his love for guitar, and storytelling that deals with the fear of growing up, and being forgotten.
